Star Trek remains a very strong brand and a legend. In 1995, this adventure game was released, immersing players in the Star Trek universe as they assume the roles of of the Enterprise under the leadership of Captain Picard. It's quite interesting to note that when discussing the famous adventure games of the '90s, most people automatically mention those from LucasArts' workshop, and Star Trek is somehow overlooked. The game was designed to resemble a Star Trek episode, with a rendered prologue that introduces the player to the storyline. The Enterprise-D responds to an emergency call from a Garidian reconnaissance ship. After beaming aboard and engaging in a brief skirmish with a Garidian ship, the crew learns about the Fifth Scroll, which has the potential to ignite a civil war on the Garidians' homeworld. However, this is just the beginning of the story. Finding the scroll is merely the first step toward uncovering new information that gradually reveals the ancient civilization of the Chodak and a mysterious device known as the Unity Device. Interest in this device is not limited to the Federation; the Romulans and other factions are also keenly interested.
