Raiden is a classic 2D shooter, like Xenon or Raptor - many similar games have been released. This type of game was very popular in arcades and some of them have been very popular and fun to play. Unfortunately, Raiden is not like such games, because it has not bring anything new, and this game is about... basically nothing. The game does not have a basic idea and if there is any, I did not find it. Graphics lag behind other games (for example, flying objects have no hint of their own shadow, while buildings have only a parody of shadow). Although the game does not have good graphics and the music is lagging behind, we might enjoy the game if it had a super gameplay. Well, it doesn't. The game was obviously not prepared primarily for the computer with the keyboard, because the enemies are moving incredibly fast, shooting everywhere around you and you can beat the levels, only if you have reflexes at the F1 pilot level. If you have a key to knock out all levels without cheats, let me know.
