Fire and Forget, a game from 1988, blends high-speed racing with intense combat on the DOS platform. In a post-apocalyptic setting, players command a heavily armed vehicle, tasked with speeding through hazardous roads filled with enemy vehicles and obstacles. As the last of the defenders of the law, you drive through the bleak world in your car of the future, bringing justice where injustice has already exceeded all tolerable limits. Your vehicle is equipped with firearms, with the help of which you are able to neutralize all your opponents that appear near you and avoid obstacles on the way. In each of the levels, you will appear on six tracks around the world and your task is to collect the highest possible score until you run out of gas. Fuel is replenished by collecting powerups, as well as ammunition and upgraded weapons.
